A new political party inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement plans to contest seats at the next General Election, the Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Among those spearheading the Taking The Initiative Party (TTIP) is Sasha Johnson, who has been whipping crowds into a frenzy during recent protests.

Wearing camouflage trousers, a black beret and a stab-proof-style vest, she told supporters at last weekend’s Million People March in London that the TTIP “will be the first black-led political party in the UK. We want representation. This is what democracy looks like”. […]

The party has been registered with the Electoral Commission and says it aims to “create real change in communities across the UK by setting the agenda in government”. In its constitution it says there will be no discrimination “with regard to sex, race, colour, creed, age, disability or sexual orientation”. […]

Ms Johnson, a youth worker and cafe owner, has called for the establishment of a “black militia” in the UK. In a video posted in July, she compared the police to the Ku Klux Klan and dismissed ethnic minority politicians David Lammy, Priti Patel and Sadiq Khan as “tokenistic”. …

Was black slavery ever that widespread in the UK?

Bet this would do wonders for the Labour Party.

Don’t know how widespread, but the empire abolished in 1807 and actively worked to stop it in every part of the globe they could reach.

Should’ve listened to Enoch Powell.

I wish we could get one of those here in America.

The Green Party isn't siphoning near enough votes away from the Dems.

Looks like Britain is about to be enriched by the same joys of diversity, multiculturalism and multiracialism that we are.

The UK got rid of slavery around 1830, IIRC.

But Jamaica was a colony of the UK empire until 1962. In Jamaica, the slaves were emancipated in 1834. So, then they used indentured Indian and Chinese laborers, which is slavery light.

Kamala Harris’ Jamaican family on the Jamaican side were major slave owners, it is said. I don’t know how far back, though.

I've listened to some of Enoch Powell's speeches and listened to an interview of him by Buckley on Firing Line.

He was well-spoken and not an extremist in the least bit.

If the people in the UK at that time couldn't see that Powell was speaking sense to them, then what hope is there that today's much more leftist and idiotic public will listen to far dimmer lights such as Douglas Murray?

*************
Who do you think owned all of the slaves came from before the American Revolution?

The answer of course is loyal British subjects.

Our Republic came into existence with the ratification of the Constitution in 1788.

The US banned the importation of slaves in 1807, 19 years after its founding.

It then took another 58 years before slavery was outlawed. This after a massive loss of life, instituted by the Democrats in the South.

George III kept preventing Virginia from banning the importation of slaves. One of many sticking points around 1770.

The UK was doomed when the Tories jettisoned Powell for Edward Heath.

Western governments are going to have to face reality, and
declare these groups to be terrorist organizations.

They only seat they deserves is one in a government prison

Maybe the U.S & the U.K. chan chip in to expand GITMO.

Must have been something in the 60s regarding immigration as we had Kennedy pushing the relaxation of immigration quotas.

1 Sept: Russia Today: The ‘Oxford Black Panther’ behind Britain’s first black-led political party vows to make white men ‘our slaves’
by Guy Birchall (Recently published in The Sun and Spiked Online)
Another day has dawned in Britain, and with it yet another ridiculous demand from the intersectional left. During a Million Person March (attended, er, by around 400 people) in London, a BLM leader announced they would be forming the first black-led political party in Britain...
Ms Johnson first came to national attention a few weeks ago after she was filmed repeatedly calling a black man who didn’t believe that the UK was a systemically racist country a “coon,” apparently threatening him with violence, then taking exception with him for “calling a black woman angry” after she explicitly said she was. The unedifying exchange can be seen here (LINK).
Another video shows her done up like Wolfie Smith and calling for the establishment of a “Black Militia” in the UK...

The whole thing is painfully cringe making, mainly because of how lacklustre the crowd are, but also for the ridiculous American imagery that doesn’t translate to Britain...
However, the clip is worth watching (LINK) just to see how uncomfortable the white woman in her entourage looks when she gives the Black Power salute...

is there ‘democracy’ in a socialist society? Certainly not in a monarchy.
