Feehery: How Trump wins

Most political analysts believe that Joe Biden will beat Donald Trump in the coming election. They are wrong. Here are five reasons why Trump wins reelection:

1) Beating an incumbent is hard: Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama won their reelections not because they were great presidents but because they were incumbents. Reagan lost the Senate in 1982 and endured a crippling recession but still was able to bounce back to win a landslide in 1984. Clinton’s first two years were so bad that Democrats lost the House for the first time in 40 years. Bush blundered America into a very unpopular war in Iraq after the devastating attacks on 9/11, and yet was able to beat a hapless John Kerry in 2004. Obama’s response to the fiscal crisis of 2008 was to pass an unpopular health care law while presiding over the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression and yet he was able to beat Trump’s biggest critic, Mitt Romney. The power of incumbency is a huge advantage, which the current occupant of the White House is using very effectively, from handing out aid personally in places like Kenosha, to pardoning convicted prisoners who had turned their lives around, to using the bully pulpit to set the media narrative day after day.

Obviously, this longtime nitwit has never seen the Sunday Morning talk show thread. Either that, or he is off his meds.

Ross Perot ended up being a useful idiot For the Democrats, doing great harm to this country and esp minorities.

Right. Bill Clinton would never have won without Perot.

And because Bill Clinton won, he was able to take credit for the long term positive effects of...

Reagan’s pro growth economic policies
Reagan’s end-of-the-Cold-War peace dividend
The dot.com revolution...

So, thanks to Ross Perot, there is still a significant percent of voters who actually consider Clinton’s Presidency to be the gold standard - and not Ronald Reagan!

If Bush didn’t betray the base, there would have been no Perot.

It’s all Bush’s fault.

Wrong.

Clinton 43% (All Democrat)
Bush 37% (All Republican)
Perot 19% (All Republican)

Perot ran on an extreme pro-Wall Street platform and thus peeled off over a third of the Republican votes from Bush. If Perot had not been in the race, Clinton’s paltry 43% plurality would have left him a bigger loser even than Carter, Mondale, or Dukakis.

Bush would have won in an epic 56/43 landslide.

Bush was not perfect, but there is no doubt that twenty million Republicans voting for Ross Perot was the SOLE reason that Bush did not win re-election by a landslide.

the same thing happened to Dole in 1996 but the numbers were different. Perot totally disappeared after the 1992 election and then conveniently reappeared 4 years later to siphon votes from Dole in 1996.

IMHO Perot is partially responsible for what we are facing today.

That’s right.

Is Perot still alive? I always wanted to ask him what the hell he was hoping to accomplish.

Bush ran a poor campaign, and in the end, there wasn’t a dime’s worth of difference between Bush and Clinton. Just two sides of the same coin.

That’s just silly.

Bush would have been far better than eight years of Clinton.

Hell, even a McCain would have been better than Obama.

Every political formula goes out the window this year.Rat Party Governors,Mayors and "experts"...and Maoists throwing firebombs...have turned everything upside down.

The bottom line is: if the Rats are able to pull off their nationwide mail in voting scam they will win...and win big.If not Trump will win a narrow victory in the Electoral College.

President Trump will win 40 plus states. It will be a landslide of vast proportion.

Even blue dog democrats ( 21% to 30 % of Trump rally attendees) will vote Trump because they hate the left wing of the Demonrat Party.

Heels Up turns off everybody, even in her own party. She is reviled in private. All the Dems have is violence, fear, and insurrection. That will never win an election in America.

What political analysts?>>>>>>>>>>

That’s right. They play pizmo gizmo with the sampling ( 15% more Democrats sampled)and think that we deplorables are too stupid to understand statistical math.

There are no political analysts. They instead are political whore anal-ists bent on voter suppression of Republicans, push polls that support a fake Dem narrative of alternate reality.

Its actually hilarious, they are repeating the crap they did in 2016.

Reagan lost a lot of House seats in 1982 but he did NOT lose the Senate, GOP essentially broke even there, picking up the seat of Indie and former conservative democrat Henry Byrd while the number of rats stayed the same at 46. GOP lost the Senate in ‘86.
