Ted Wayman is recovering after being taken to a local hospital. The Globe reported he was helped by a photojournalist he was with.

Boston police reported a stabbing in the area Sunday night, but did not identify the male victim.

Police said Cirilo Aldana-Peraedes, 44, of Boston, was bothering the victim and other people throughout the day. When the victim asked Aldana-Peraedes to leave him alone, he pulled out scissors in a threatening manner.

Police said Aldana-Peraedes stabbed the passenger side window of the victim's van, scratching the glass window and eventually stabbing the victim when he tried to close the door. The victim suffered a "severe laceration" on his left forearm.

Aldana-Peraedes fled and was arrested a short time later by police. He faces a charge of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

There has been an outpour of support for Wayman from media members and officials on social media.

I worked at Copley Square in 1985. Don’t remember it being bad at all. Of course that’s 35 years ago so...

Did the news outlet still report that it was a peaceful protest?

“There has been an outpour of support for Wayman from media members and officials on social media.”

so it is always PEACEFUL when a non-MSM person
is raped, stabbed, or murdered.
but the MSM is quick to support itself, is it not?

Copley square was nice, but the library drew some sketchy characters. Especially in the bathrooms.

Stabbed by a “mostly peaceful” assailant, of course.

"While reporting on a story", eh? What story?

Wouldn't be a 'peaceful protest', now would it?

Wouldn't be a BLM or Antifa punk, would it?

Always look for the missing details. They will tell you the real story.

And notice how they try to tie the stabbing to some other unrelated stabbing. Why?

That was during the civil era. We’re now in the lawless era.

But no outpouring of support from the media when a policeman or veteran is injured.

Copley has always been edgy.

I never thought of it that way, way back in the day. But I realized the library did become a bum magnet over time.

I gather from the story he was stabbed. I guess “stabbed” was on this reporter word of the day calendar.
