I remember ye olde days when if an editor felt a story "could be wrong," he refused to run it until the reporter could prove with multiple sources that it WASN'T wrong.

Those days ended in the late-50s/early-60s when commies/socialists/fascists etc infiltrated and took over academia, newsrooms, local/state/fed gov’ts etc etc etc.
