Former US Representative Trey Gowdy was on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo this Labor Day weekend. Gowdy had this to say about the John Durham investigation that has been going on for the past year looking into criminal activities in the Russia collusion scandal. The crimes being looked into are those by the FBI and DOJ holdovers from the Obama administration.

Trey Gowdy is 100% correct. Durham/Huber have duped the Trust Sessions crowd, but not rational thinkers who know the Swamp doesn’t turn on itself.

I agree with you on Gowdy and Graham, but bad hair Trey is likely correct on the Durham investigation. We might get a strongly worded report but that will be all.
Gowdy is one of the deepest of the Deep Staters.

Folks, no one of consequence is going to be lead away in handcuffs. Durham is just like anyone else. He has bosses. He's not some independent truth-seeker. I heard this interview yesterday with Gowdy and wasn't surprised. Nothing will happen, and sadly, Trump will most likely lose in November. Americans have allowed the federal govt to become too powerful and there will be no going back without a major action for which we don't have the stomach.
So enjoy your cable tv and your trucks and your family because Durham will amount to nothing.
Gowdy quit Congress to spend more time with his growing bank account. Gaetz is a clown. I trust Jordan more than most.
Gowdy is controlled opposition. The GOPe uses people like Gowdy to keep conservative voters on the GOP plantation and voting to reelect the likes of Graham and McConnell.
All hope is on the next 4 with trump, we will see. Courts packed,supreme court will be busy, bury ginsberg already and replace. Theres a lot to fix in 4 years across the board
If nothing happens it will be in large part thanks to people like Gowdy. Gowdy has said he knew in 2017 (!) that the FBI was lying to Congress about this stuff. And what did he do? NOTHING. This is provably a bipartisan and ongoing coup against POTUS.
Frankly I’m getting sick of seeing his face on television. He was a congressman, he gave up his seat, it’s now time to just stay home, mind his own business and keep his trap shut. I happened to catch him on The Five last week And thought he seemed out of place. And I live in his (former) district! He had a chance to have an impact, to make a difference, and in my opinion he failed.
As someone who knows how to talk a big game, but never deliver....
