Yes.your post brought back a memory of the Bolshie revolution in Russia. The Bolshies were a minority party politically, and when Lenin showed up, he took over the “revolution” from the street radicals— the Socialist Revolutionary Party.
After the October 1917 takeover— the SRP were not in agreement with Lenin’s thugs, because— get this, the “revolution” did not include the.... peasants, the real workers, who were in Lenin’s plans to obey the Dictatorship of the Proletariat (meaning the proletariat was to be dictated over by the Bolsheviks). So the armed SRP attacked the Bolshies (the SRP was a lot of women, btw- one of whom shot Lenin.
