A legal foundation has filed two court briefs that assert that double voting by the thousands happened in 2016-2018 in Georgia and North Carolina, as the nation prepares for its first large-scale, mail-in balloting to elect a president.
Anti-universal mail ballot activists say the two states are a tip-off for what will happen in the Nov. 3 election.
Liberal journalists demand that the Trump administration, which opposes mass-mailed ballots in most states, provide evidence of fraud. The counterargument is that it is difficult to cite such examples when only a handful of states before 2020 adopted remote voting.
Those unique balloting procedures painstakingly took years to perfect the checks and balances needed to avoid doubling voting. Today, because of the coronavirus pandemic, 22 states are fast-tracking the shift from in-person voting and toward the U.S. Postal Service, according to Ballotpedia.
Experts estimate that 80 million Americans will vote by mail in the 2020 general elections, about double those in 2016, when a total of 138 million people cast ballots in person or from afar.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) has investigated instances in which fraud already may have occurred.
Clark County, Nevada’s largest, decided to switch to mail-in ballots just two months before its June primary. The result: nearly 225,000 of 1.3 million mailed ballots (17.3%) were sent back by the Postal Service as undeliverable. Only 305,000 mail-in ballots (23.5%) were accepted and counted, according to numbers provided to PILF.

We should require a ballot by ballot check on mail-in ballots to make sure those voters did not also vote in person.
Republican need to have COMPETENT, TRAINED poll representatives at EVERY location where returned mail ballots are signature checked and otherwise thoroughly validated.

In our town our identies are counted twice, before we vote and after we vote. We also have a annual town census which requires every person living in our homes be listed including children. I wonder how many people bother to fill in their local census?

How can you invalidate both if a person legitamately stood in line, and some Dem mailed in one in that persons name?
Just because some states are saying they will mail to all voters or those who request, there will be some of those people who don’t receive the supposed mass mailed ones - easy enough for someone to fill them out and mail back in. That guy in NJ had article other day how he was great at mail ballot fraud.
But we should not as a country start telling people their vote can’t count because of double ballot if they had nothing to do with the fraud ballot. I think no one should have mail in ability, except extreme circumstances, which Covid is NOT.

There should be NO MAIL IN voting. If 400 people max can be in a walmart than people can go to polling stations and vote.

I agree, but this slows down the counting process immensely.
NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS can be opened or taken out of their outer envelopes until polls close and votes are recorded. Then, and only then, can the mail-in ballots be checked against the voting rolls, to assure anyone who voted in person did not also mail in a ballot. All duplicates should be invalidated unopened.
This assures that there are no double votes. It also assures that we won't know who wins on election night.
A good portion of the “GOP” is as anxious to be rid of PDJT as the Filthocrats. I don’t think we can rely on them to be a legal force against the fraud on the horizon.
