Sounds like she really DID turn her life around. And prayers to that retired officer. G-D BLESS both of them.
He gave her her life back and she gave him his. Cool story.
I’ve seen this (G-D) many times in writings and such but I could never understand why it’s so hard to spell God’s name GOD instead of G-D.
Enlighten me. If you can.
Some people believe the name of God should never be said or spelled.
I have no problem saying Jesus!
“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know!” One of my favorite hymns.

In Judaism it’s we spell his name that way as a show of reverence. Also to remind us of our own imperfections.
