Kosovo is a majority muslim country - the only one in Europe itself (not counting Turkey’s tiny toehold).
At one point, it was the main destination for International Sunni jihadis to go to fight.
So it is a significant diversification of muslim/Israeli recognition. It shows what a broad (and successful) diplomatic effort this has been. No doubt, more will be revealed soon.
Also, just working out a Serbian/Kosovar peace deal alone is itself a strong basis for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Albania is also majority Moslem. Rita Ora the English singer is originally from Kosovo.
Albania and Bosnia are Muslim majority also.
