Back in the 1990s, the Clinton Administration began to weaponize the U.S. government against any future president who might work hard to restore the U.S.A. for its own people. Donna Shalala and her friends had worked all of their adult lives to get people like the Clintons into office.

They’re pussies, and have been pussies most of my life, too many country club, silver spoon wimps, absolutely pathetic; and to make matters worse, they put the biggest losers in ‘leadership’ positions. Pathetic.

"A smart person doesnt use the so low IQ tell."
In the image presented by Fiddlstix, the use of the word, so, is not annoying. We're long accustomed to it.
[Earlier in the day, the children discussed going to play baseball. Dad changes a current subject to begin talking about that.] "So, you kids wanted to go out to play some baseball. How long will you be gone?"
But many contemporary, young academics and other young people in entertainment communications (radio, television, etc.) now use the word to begin an answer to a new question or statement. That is annoying.
Example [The beginning of an interview.]:
NPR Interviewer: A meteor will pass close to the earth tomorrow. How large in diameter is the meteor?
Immature Scientist: So, allow me to begin a long, scripted statement that won't promptly answer your question first.
That trendy abuse of the word is irritating. Another word used in the same way for years has been as annoying, and that is the use of the word, right, to begin an answer to a question.

The word so followed by a statement which is punctuated with a question mark has nothing to do with correct.

FYI. I did not make that meme. I simply posted it from a another site. It has been posted several times in recent months here at FR.

legal kabuki?
1. letter brings up the concerns of the 116th congress, a political concern. judges are supposed to be immune to political concerns (so i have thought)
2. even if resolved by the appeals court, would such a decision not be subject to review at the supreme court level? thus a delay beyond the 116th congress is all but inevitable in practice?

There are some sensible comments in the ruling in regards the case being premature - but mixed in with them are some doozies. Ugh.

Formal speech is more appropriate for academics in radio or television interviews than in political speech distributed for mass consumption.
