She and many others like her are holding District Attorney positions across the country. They have taken power.
Their power is limited by the Federal courts. While I know that many in the judiciary appear to be very motivated politically, it is a bridge too far for them right now.
Trump’s judicial nominees have created a firewall against this kind of lunacy. This is why he must have 4 more years of appointments - especially SCOTUS.
