The Republican Jewish Coalition released a three-minute video featuring what it billed as four lifelong Jewish Democrats who were switching party affiliation this year to re-elect Donald Trump. Only one wrinkle half of them have voted for Republican presidential candidates in the past.
I am an issue voter, not just a party-line person, one of the four, Dr. Caryn Borger, said. I dont vote down the line; I never have. In fact, Dr. Borger, 48, an endocrinologist from Livingston, New Jersey, said she voted for George W. Bush in 2004 when he successfully ran for a second term against Democratic rival John Kerry. I felt we needed to have a decisive decision-maker as a result of what happened on 9-11, she explained.

Half.
So half are going to vote against the dem for the first time.
The other half generally vote D but have at least once voted against a D.
Haaretz is trying to pooh-pooh this?
Agree. I’m not buying this story.
They are just afraid that Old Joe wont get over 90% of the Jewish vote as a Democrat would usually get.
So the fraction now voting Republican has increased by 100%.
I used to think that HaAretz was Hebrew for The Land, but now I realize it is Hebrew for “The Guardian”. Total rag.
Haaretz is a left wing Israeli newspaper. Don’t expect accurate reporting.
Not really that many Jewish people in the entire country to make a big difference In an election regardless on how they vote.
The Forward (Yiddish: פֿאָרווערטס, romanized: Forverts), formerly known as The Jewish Daily Forward,[2] is an American news media organization for a Jewish-American audience. Founded in 1897 as a Yiddish-language daily socialist newspaper, The New York Times reported that Seth Lipsky "started an English-language offshoot of the Yiddish-language newspaper"[3] as a weekly newspaper in 1990.
"It has a politically progressive editorial focus."
...The first issue of Forverts appeared on April 22, 1897, in New York City.[8] The paper was founded by a group of about 50 Yiddish-speaking socialists who had organized three months earlier as the Forward Publishing Association.[8] The paper's name, as well as its political orientation, was borrowed from the German Social Democratic Party and its organ Vorwärts. Abraham Cahan, patriarch of The Forward until 1946 Forverts was a successor to New York's first Yiddish-language socialist newspaper, Di Arbeter Tsaytung (The Workman's Paper), a weekly established in 1890 by the fledgling Jewish trade union movement centered in the United Hebrew Trades, as a vehicle for bringing socialist and trade unionist ideas to Yiddish-speaking immigrants, primarily from eastern Europe.[9][10]
This paper had been merged into a new Yiddish daily called Dos Abend Blatt (The Evening Paper) as its weekend supplement when that publication was launched in 1894 under the auspices of the Socialist Labor Party (SLP).[9]
As this publication established itself, it came under increased political pressure from the de facto head of the SLP, Daniel De Leon, who attempted to maintain a rigid ideological line with respect to its content.[11] It was this centralizing political pressure which had been the motivating factor for a new publication...
“So half are going to vote against the dem for the first time.”
And some other other number won’t admit to it yet...
I would not trust this article. First because it sounds wrong. Second, because The Forward is an avowedly (they’re honest about it) socialist paper.
It’s the half voting for Trump who DON’T usually vote Republican that is important.
But they may make a difference in some states?
Hsaretz is a Jews for Hitler newspaper
I think New York has the most Jewish people at 7% of their population. Even if they all voted Republican I doubt Trump would win that state.
The are big dollar donors and have outsized influence on both coasts.
The Forward can publish some useful articles. But it has been an avowedly socialist paper since its founding in 1897. So, I do not trust its political articles or poll reports.
The PLM (Palestinian Led Media) is even more leftist in Israel than our BLM (Bolshevik Led Media).
I can never figure the liberal jew, turn the other cheek?, but they are very liberal
