Yes, judge a man by his enemies. Holtz has always been serious about both athletics and reality. That makes him more Catholic than Notre Dame, which is unfortunately not difficult. ND still has some great Catholic scholars if you know where to look, but the place has been run at the highest levels by anti-Catholic abortion promoters and poofter-supporters since the 1960s. (Yes, looking at you, Fr. Ted Hesburgh and successors.)
If an institution sucks up to high priests of Mordor like Mario Cuomo and Barack Hussein, you know that the men in charge there are in a bad place. Holtz is right again.

I have been a Norte Dame fan since the mid-sixties. That fandom has ended. I hope they never win another game in any sport.
