Paul Ryan sold Nunes out. Period. He did not support him, his investigation, or his ability to fully function as a chairman of his committee because Ryan supported the coup.
There is no other conclusion that can be drawn.
Devin Nunes should be one of the most popular congressmen here on FR. In large part, thanks to him, many good journalists began digging into what happened with spygate. He was right about what he was scorned for and if anything it was far worse than even he expected at the beginning.
