when some one admits they were wrong just except it. I believe Glen Beck is sincere . one of the things you have to remember 10 years ago glen beck was on fox with the white boards trying to educate people about the evils of progressivism. his biggest sin was not understanding how much he had been indoctrinated by the media he works in. he definitely is not a conservative but he is also not deep state media or some one trying to deceive us... ask your self how much have you gotten wrong.

“how much he had been indoctrinated by the media. . . “
I think it is more how jaded we become in our own doctrinaire beliefs and how we measure others up to our personal dogmas.

Beck is a good example of that jadedness we get hung up on. I’m guilty of it myself. During his campaign, Trump called Beck when his dad died and offered his condolences. Beck confessed the other day that he thought it was just a cynical ploy and what candidates do when running for office. That is what Beck is so apologetic for today and regrets so much. I was listening that day, and it rung sincere to me..

He now sees what a good and caring man Trump is.
It is what impressed Mike Pence as well. Looking at Trump’s children.
Pence said, “You can’t fake good kids.”

Like Beck, I was a Cruz supporter. Even entertained Rubio for a while. I, and many others here and elsewhere, did not think Trump a doctrinaire conservative.

What made me a Trump supporter, and a very strong one, was how in his campaign he kept talking about and empathizing with the victims of crime in our community and in our society . No politician in my memory kept invoking over and over the lifelong hurt of those left behind when a loved one dies at the hand of another..
That message came through time and time again during the convention.

I liked Beck’s sense of American history and his blackboards. He backed it up with fascinating research. I’ve bought his books. I can welcome him back in the fold. I know his regret is genuine.
