Although Kenosha leaders had unanimously greenlighted a plan in 2017 to purchase body cameras for law enforcement officers, police were still not equipped with them. Where did the money go? Oh. Right. Salary and benefit increases for government "workers".

Great question. I bought a body camera on Amazon for eighty bucks. I wear it in public now in case I get hassled by any Mask Karens. The police version with a ruggedized case and night vision was a couple hundred.
