The courts are in the process of abolishing the death penalty. Inch by inch, ruling by ruling, it is slowly going away.
Not endorsing it but clearly that’s what’s been happening.
Honestly, for this guy, he needs to not get the death penalty. His ass is paying every day for the last 15 years for what he did. Might as well bend him over for another 15 years.
Death penalty should be for pedos, rapists, terrorists, traitors, some members of the media, etc...

This is not a hill to die on. The death penalty really lets them off the hook. They should be made to suffer for their crimes for the rest of their natural life.
