State Health Commissioner Dr. Norman Oliver told 8News on Friday that he plans to mandate coronavirus vaccinations for Virginians once one is made available to the public.
Virginia state law gives the Commissioner of Health the authority to mandate immediate immunizations during a public health crisis if a vaccine is available. Health officials say an immunization could be released as early as 2021.
Dr. Oliver says that, as long as he is still the Health Commissioner, he intends to mandate the coronavirus vaccine.
“It is killing people now, we don’t have a treatment for it and if we develop a vaccine that can prevent it from spreading in the community we will save hundreds and hundreds of lives,” Oliver said.
Under state law, only people with a medical exemption could refuse the mandate.

No one is going to force me to have some crappy “vaccine” for the Wuhan Virus. I’ll pay for the “medical exemption.”
Same kind of doctor as Governor Baby Killer Northam. I have family in the medical profession, in VA, who are concerned that the vaccines are not going through all of the testing that normally occurs. They say they are young enough that long term effects, that won’t show up in the rush to get a vaccine out there, could be an issue for them in the future.

Dr. Oliver has a long record of accomplishment, studying health inequities, particularly as it affects racial and ethnic minorities, has been the focus of his research. Most recently, his research interests lie in the area of improving our understanding of the role of racial discrimination, bias, and prejudice in establishing and maintaining these health inequities and the understanding of the interplay between race and socioeconomic position in these disparities. Improving our understanding of racial and ethnic health disparities and developing effective interventions to reduce or eliminate them are major goals of the health department.

Dr Mengele, I mean Dr. Norman Oliver, but I repeat myself, has past his due date. Send him out to pasture.
Your options are to discuss your concerns with your doctor who will advocate for you. I will be the first in line for a vaccine, however, I also believe in the medical ethic tenant of autonomy, if you don’t want a vaccine, as a physician, that is your choice, and I would defend it to the death. It is illegal, and unethical, to compel a medical procedure that a patient refuses. This is crystal clear, and I seriously doubt that it would be upheld in any legal circle.

So a determined WOKESTER is going to mandate vaccines? Not knowing anything about his except that blurb, I conclude he is the last person on earth I'd want to get health advice or requirements from.

In 3 years, it has become a total shithole.
Personally one of my cherished religious beliefs is that disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God.
Virginia is ruled by stupid people.
Millions of people pass throuh VA every few days, of which I am one.
So what is he going to do about them?
Truck drivers, tourists going north and south on I-95 and I-85....and I-81, I-77...
Thousands who have buxiness in Washington, DC arriving by air...
The guy is a fool.
So they are going to force a rushed vaccine on people. A vaccine that is admittedly not even going to be very effective. Some people will die from the vaccine. Many more will be messed up for life with all kinds of medical issues caused by the vaccine. But that will never be admitted to.
This is a situation where people cannot stand by quietly as they are led to the slaughter.
There are what? Scores of vaccines in development, all being rushed through the R&D stage, the clinical testing stage, and none has been studied for long-term effects. Which one do you pick? Which vaccine technology do you trust? Aren’t you the least bit concerned about unknown adverse effects somewhere down the road?
Some tar, feathers, and a sturdy piece of rope solves the unelected bureaucrat problem nicely.
