Americans increasingly believe social media companies like Facebook (FB) and Twitter (TWTR) are censoring political speech despite a lack of any hard evidence of such bias. According to a recent survey of 4,708 U.S. adults conducted by the Pew Research Center between June 16 and June 22, 73% of respondents say that it is somewhat or very likely that social media sites purposely censor political viewpoints they find objectionable. The survey results come at a fraught time for social networks like Twitter and Facebook as they attempt to clamp down on misinformation and foreign interference ahead of the 2020 elections, and as President Trump continues his attack on the sites via his order to find a way to repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

Believe hell...know!
“lack of evidence” apart from internal memos and undercover camera interviews
>>While conservative politicians, including Trump, and pundits have been banging the drum the loudest about supposed bias on social media site<<
You cannot trust meta reports.
Like this gem in that article:
“While conservative politicians, including Trump, and pundits have been banging the drum the loudest about supposed bias on social media site”
It is not SUPPOSED. Worst case is it is REPORTED. This is he usual blatant left-leaning tripe that passes for journalism, just like when they report on Trump and then embed it in things like “disproven” or “unsupported” like they did about the inevitable fraud that will accompany mail in voting.
Despite a lack of any hard evidence. Obviously Americans are stupid and gullible. Most media employees think they are conducting journalism, despite a lack of any hard evidence. Democrats think mail-in voting is the best way to ensure a fair election, despite a lack of any hard evidence. Public health experts believe millions of people will die of COVID despite a lack of any hard evidence.
Also, a majority of Americans think water is wet, but will wait for more proof.
I think a slender plurality believes Morning Joe and Mika do not like Trump “very much”, that CNN presents anti-Trump news “sometimes” and Joy Reid is “not very much” of a fan of Trump.
But still believes media are not really biased “on the whole.”/s
And these morons vote?
Winston Churchill remark:
(some say it’s not genuine)
“The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with any voter.”
Make two posts. Post 1 makes all the BLMm boilerplate complaints about institutional racism, Orange man evil, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Post 2 lays out the evidence that BLMm are the actual racists.
See which one gets taken down or challenged by their "fact checkers".
It isn't even close.
“... despite a lack of any hard evidence of such bias ...”
No evidence for media bias or election fraud. Nope. None. Nobody ever seems to be able to quite find it, but everyone knows it’s reality. Meanwhile, Trump supporters are getting booted from Facebook and Twitter left and right. What would a blue check mark liberal have to say to get banned from Twitter? I doubt they could do it.
From Yahoo...which recently disabled comments on their stories.
Good, so they don’t buy into this claim that Facebook is “fact” checking?
This is from 2016.
