My college government teacher was an uberliberal.
The book used in his class was one he wrote.
Disagreed with his premise every step of the way. Final grade from him ...A.
It was funny the kids in class sighed, moaned, and snickered their way through as every lecture he attempted to give was met with a counterpoint or CORRECTION.
Somehow I do not think he was pleased with having an older student in the room. LOL. Maybe that’s how we correct these schools ...register to audit the classes and then speak up?!

Hopefully, her class isn’t mandatory. Students should be warned that they are not allowed to disagree with the left-wing opinions of the professor.

On second thought, if the course is an elective not required by majors in the field, and if the professor wasn’t canned, the syllabus should have been left the way it was to warn students what they were letting themselves in for.
The college reiterated it’s policy to Clark, but her bias will still affect grading. Suggest that anyone that has to have English 2 either take another instructor, or, take an online class from another U, then transfer the credit for their transcript.

Regarding the aforementioned Professor Click, it probably didn’t take long to figure out the difference between a state university and a private Jesuit university.
From virtually my first class at Gonzaga, I was expected to question the status quo, to fully develop my critical thinking skills. I’m sure that came as a shock to Professor Click.
It’s been nearly 45 years since my philosophy professor blasted away the mystery of was philosophy: “it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it, because philosophy is nothing but a bunch of Bull$hit.” It was one of merely a few of my classes taught by Jesuits, but it has stayed with me all of these years.
BTW, I had the same accounting professor for over 30 semester hours...and he NEVER used numbers. He gave midterms and finals tests. All essay, at least two of the five essay questions, your reply would start , “based on the information you’ve given me, I cannot answer this question.” Then you’d have to explain why.
Oh, the stories I could tell... lol
