Not exactly. Lot of caribou poop. Lot s of oil seeps on the ground too. The Natives used to collect crude oil off the surface to burn in their lamps during the winter. THE HORROR!!!

They are going to find a LOT of oil beneath that pristine tundra!

Yes, we’re going to have to tell everybody again that the drilling footprint is only going to be 2 square miles out of ANWR’s total of 30,000 square miles, and it is in the barren ice/mud fields along the coast. They will do lateral drilling from there to reach a wide area of oil deposits and run less than 100 miles of pipeline west to link up with the existing Alaska Pipeline.
