Just five years ago, David Knox and two colleagues took a risk. They relocated their nascent organization to Over-the-Rhine, a Cincinnati neighborhood that had been the site of days of civil unrest in 2001 and had recently been named the most dangerous in the United States.

My daughter lived in Over The Rhine from early 2011 to mid 2013. She absolutely loved the area, but did take precautions. She rented a beautiful mid 1800’s apartment that was being renovated. It was a pretty nice place for a young woman. The security cameras helped us feel better about her living there.
