That is what happened in Watergate. I think the four burglars pleaded guilty and the judge, sensing a conspiracy, threw the book at them. I think they drew ten year sentences. Not long after that Nixon recorded himself in the Oval office discussing hush money to cover up the conspiracy.
At the very least Durham should have nailed the lawyer who forged an email to defraud the FISA court. That might lead directly to Strzok and Page as conspirators in that fraud. Throw the book at them then. Let the dominoes fall.
Make it very clear that those who cooperate early and fully get deals; not a free ride.
Correct, and your knowledge of the history of Watergate is also spot on. Durham wont do a thing, except (perhaps) go after underlings that are so low on this crime that they can be used as cannon fodder to protect the Deep State and the political class.
Trump knows something. Someone leaked to him. Thats why he chose the words he did. He reiterated that the coup and spying criminality came from Obama on down, and that he fears that all Barr and Durham will do is go after underlings, if even that.
This was a last ditch effort by Trump to try and prod the attorney general and the US attorney assigned to this case to do the right thing. It wont work.
