Marijuana use during pregnancy associated with autism in babies, study finds
Fox News ^ | August 11, 2020 | Kayla Rivas

In a separate study conducted by the same researchers, they previously found that cannabis use in pregnancy was linked to an increased risk of preterm birth. The women involved in that study often used other substances like tobacco, alcohol, and opioids. "Considering those findings, in the current study the researchers specifically looked at 2,200 women who reported using only cannabis during pregnancy, and no other substances. They found that babies born to this group still had an increased risk of autism compared to those who did not use cannabis," per the press release.

What’s funny is that the behavior patterns of stoners are similar to those of people with ADHD. I doubt there’s any coincidence there.

My studies have concluded that 100% of autistic people were exposed to both Dioxygen and Dihydrogen Monoxide compounds at an early age. 100%!!!

Every couple/few years they come out with some new “possible cause”.

I had to laugh when this same thing was posted the other day. My son’s autistic and I know what I know and will leave it at that.

So 100s of 1000s if not millions of people, including doctors, lawyers and pretty much every other walk of life are a bunch of potheads.

ok

Of half a million women in the study, 3,000, or 0.6%, reported using cannabis during pregnancy

Who needs common core when we now have covid math.

Millions of potheads, and it’s quite evident in what’s going on around us. And as for the “covid math,”...

3000 \ 500000 = .006

...which is 0.6%.

0.6%

That definitely proves it

That was my point

Those were only the women who reported using marijuana. Women are more likely to lie in surveys than men (’90s study). Potheads are more likely to lie than people who don’t do drugs (common knowledge). So the percentage of children with brain function problems from pregnant, drug-addicted mothers is probably higher.

The study doesn’t tell us about individual children diagnosed as being autistic resulting from other causes. I know some adults who had the label but who also had kinetic head injuries as children.

But yes, many of the children of pothead parents have neural problems. Some of those of use who’ve worked with many children have seen it firsthand.

Yes, there are also many autistic people whose mothers didn’t do drugs.

Whereas tobacco and alcohol are great for unborn babies? Clean living is the way to go during pregnancy ... no s***, Sherlock.

They didn’t say it was THE ONLY cause of autism. There can be many causes, we don’t know the all the causes, or even A cause. We have theories and guesses and accusations, nothing more.
