actually not, it is usually just a symptom of another comorbidity that is actually the problem.
people whose only comorbidity is obesity are only slightly overrepresented in cases. part of that is attributed to the substandard medical care fat people get. especially fat women, doctors blindly dismiss all their problems to their obesity.
there's things you can't diss in this society...you can't say anything bad about drunks, or druggies, or bums, or illegals, or gays, or whores, or the people that matter, or muzzies, or smokers or weed smokers but there's one group that is open season on ...overweight people....persona non grata....
