A man in his late teens was slashed to death with a machete in broad daylight in central London, as violent crime levels return to pre-lockdown levels in the capital.
The teen was hacked to death at around 5:30 on Monday evening, close to Oxford Street, one of the busiest shopping streets in the country.

Lucky it wasn't an AR-15. Just wondering, was he slashed to death or hacked to death. Seems the writer hasn't decided which way to go yet.

Why would one need a machete in London, anyway? Are there thick growths of bamboo that have to be whacked?
I know Brits cook a tough slab of beef but wouldn’t a ginsu knife be more versatile?
