You can buy bison at the bigger Walmart SuperCenters.
At least the hamburger/ground beef. VERY lean. Good for you and taste exactly like lean beef because it pretty much is.
I got some Bison steaks at the Maxwell AFB Commissary. The were in the frozen meat markdown bin!
VERY good rare. I only salted and pan fried them on a very hot skillet for two minutes a side.
