Doubtful. AFAIK, her Catholicism is limited to being baptized and writing a guest piece in “America” magazine. She shacks up with her boyfriend, promotes all manner of anti-Catholic positions and has never expressed any interest in the Catholic faith. Nat’l Catholic Reporter declaring her the “future of the Catholic Church” is some combination of wishful thinking and trolling.
I imagine there are many of today’s bishops ready to meet her and tell her what a wonderful women she is. In the meantime, others in their flock are working to support the pro life movement and are totally ignored by those same bishops.
