Around this part of Arizona, none of the locals ever wears orange while hunting. You’ll see a few out-of-staters wearing orange.
I think I have seen the numbers and there are no fewer accidental deaths in states that require orange versus those that don’t. I think it is funny to watch some of these Outdoor Channel shows and in some states, they wear orange during bow season. I have even seen people wearing it in the Yukon where there ain’t a soul for one hundred miles.
