I count a Dole, McConnell endorsement as a negative in a primary. Trump declining to endorse either is a sign..
Both are acceptable..
or
Neither are acceptable.
We shall see.

Something about this just rubs me the wrong way ... like he was cultivating himself to spend a lifetime living at the taxpayers’ expense.

Kobach had a lifetime desire to go to West Point, but he came down with a disqualifying illness and his dream of being a career Army officer was crushed. Should he have gone to Podunk Community College instead? But, I'm sure you know all about the facts.

Is this good or bad?

Good, if the Kansas Senate seat remains Republican. No more Alabama defeats !

Kansas is a rural state, but it’s less conservative than you’d think because a very large chunk of its population lives in its three largest metro areas: Kansas City, Wichita and Topeka-Lawrence.

I usually wouldn’t care where he went to school ... but anyone who majors in government and politics strikes me as a person who is hell-bent on pursuing a career as an unproductive leech. Sorry if that bothers anyone, but that’s the first thing I think of when I read a resume like that.

Bongino lost by less than 1 percent in a solid blue district - he even knocked on my door- good conversation

McConnell only wants Bush League Republicans dedicated to the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) in the Senate.

Curious...anyone know the dynamics of this race as far as Bob Hamilton being involved? It looks like Hamilton was in the race to drain Kobach votes from what I can gather? Or was Hamilton a legit guy?

Bongino almost defeated a Democrat incumbent in a strongly Democrat district.

Kobach lost the Kansas governor race. Trump carried Kansas by over 20 points.

You cannot compare Kobach to Bongino. Roy Moore is a better comparison.

Bob Dole is the personification of a U.S. Senator from Kansas. That’s all you need to know about the state.

There are a lot of liberals in KC and Topeka/Lawrence, but not so many in Wichita. We here in Wichita are in CD4, and it is rated as safe R, and has been for quite some time. Lots of industry and taxpayers in Wichita. Last Dem to represent CD 4 was in 1994.

Koch Industries is headquartered in Wichita. The city is also huge in aviation-related industries. Cessna and LearJet have a major presence there.

“Marshall is more palatable to squishy GOP’ers and will vote conservative at least 98% of the time.”

You’re off by about 30%.

Dan ran in a very tough district, and narrowly lost!

He also lost statewide in a senate race in MD.

Kobach deserves an Administration job, like Cuccinelli got. Perhaps in Homeland Security or DOJ.

Every Republican Governor in KS is succeeded by a Demonrat in every election since 1964. If Kobach had won, he’d have broken a 54-year precedent. He knew it was uphill and ran anyway, despite those negative odds and the serious baggage of ex-Gov. Sam Brownback had on the GOP. People that paint him as a loser fail to cite this above fact.
