Pelosi and Trump criticizing Birx are the pathetic ones. She’s had years of experience fighting pandemics, including most recently, AIDS in Africa.
And she’s right about it spreading into rural areas. My small town and thinly populated county in western PA now has higher rates of positive tests than does Philadelphia County. Birx is trying to keep a lid on this and she is right to do so. That’s her job. If I were her, I’d tell Trump to stuff it. I’d quit and go home and spend time with my family. She hasn’t seen her 90+-year-old parents in weeks.
I don’t see a PhD or a M.D. after Trump’s name. He’s not an expert on anything.
