My goodness, you're right! I'm a big-time space-nut, and I didn't even realize that!
I'll am watching with bells on! Really neat that we're seeing live shots from inside the capsule.
Thanks M!
Take off, eh!
One of the things I’m noticing...the ‘commentators’ from SpaceX are doing some serious blathering. I remember the correspondents from back in the day didn’t seem to just yak and yak. They at least seemed to have their stuff together.
HGaving someone older and more polished might help these be easier to watch and may even attract more viewers.
/Rant
It’s all about the cost. The shuttle was not cost effective and SpaceX is supposed to make money.
Plus I don’t think we ever lost a capsule on re-entry, IIRC.
They are annoying.
Prayers up for a safe return!
Capsule? No. A Shuttle? Yes (Columbia).
4 minutes out from beginning of de-orbit sequence start.
They are annoying.
The blonde is excellent eye candy and space dessert.
They’re probably trying to attract people younger than the average freeper. If you are 60+ you’re not going to space.
That is, unless you have bucks and have reservations with Virgin Galactic....
Amen!
John Glenn at 77 years old.
Good luck guys!
Trunk separated, less than an hour to land.
Trunk has separated and the capsule is free. De-orbit burn coming up.....
We haven't. Gus Grissom did at least have the decency to lose his capsule after splashdown however :-P
De-orbit burn has started. Ain’t no going back now......
Anyone else notice all of the paper towel rolls strategically placed on tables?
There’s a good chance that tonight or tomorrow the Starship SN5 will do the 150m hop. Will try to post if that’s streamed.
