In the midst of a cultural awakening on race, commonly used words and phrases and their origins are being reexamined and, in some cases, redefined entirely. Still others, such as “peanut gallery” and “fuzzy wuzzy," remain in wide use despite their racially questionable origins. That's because the definition of these words and phrases have often been lost over time, experts said.

Fuzzy Wuzzy sat among the peanut galley on the porch overlooking the plantation, wearing an open kimono Indian style, ate Eskimo pies and spouted mambo jumbo as the paddy wagon loomed into view to take him off the reservation.

Or as one rscebaiting black Dallas city councilman said a few years back “pot calling the kettle black” has racist overtones. I guess much like confederate statues we have to throw all our pots out

Challenge accepted.

I think it is time to open the kimono and see shall this fuzzy fuzzy is on the plantation, or somewhere off the reservation. Maybe that Eskimo over there can figure out who in the peanut gallery needs to get a ride in the paddy wagon. Yeah he’ll sit there Indian style talking all that Mumbo jumbo, but I don’t give a hoot.

Yahoo! used to have a comment section. Sometimes the conservatives would jump in and explain how wrong a certain article or author was. Well, that won’t do (not for a liberally biased “news” site like yahoo). So now, they have a survey instead of comment section to see how they can structure it so people won’t get the wrong point of view (which might trigger them). They did censorship, deletions and other curative actions but just wasn’t enough. They had to do more because they were WOKE, dammit. So no more comment section for now.

“Lying Dog-faced Pony Soldier” still acceptable, I see.
Wonder why?
Maybe it’s not what is said, but who is saying it?

When you think about it, every word in the English language is racist. And that’s because these words were mostly coined by white men. There was very little input from females and nonwhites.

That’s why I have long advocated that the English language be replaced by a binary code. And since the number zero comes from India, I think I’ll be alright.

The media today is so polluted and corrupt that I now regularly look at the source of any article that is posted. If an article is reposted from a known bullschitt lying fake news rag or fake news video network I don’t bother to engage it in any way. This article is from Yahoo so it’s to be shunned, not read.
