Liz Cheney vows to keep expressing differences with Trump after he criticizes her

Washington(CNN) President Donald Trump on Thursday joined Republicans who are publicly criticizing GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, who has broken with the President in regard to American military engagement overseas and support for Dr. Anthony Fauci during the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump's tweet Thursday morning prompted Cheney to publicly insist that she will continue to advocate for her foreign policy views.

Tensions between Cheney and House Republicans, which were aired during a conference meeting earlier this week, have illustrated intra-party divides not only over foreign policy but the extent to which congressional Republicans should remain in lockstep behind the President.

No way in hell this B-word deserves to be a Cardinal (top 3 in Leadership) after only serving 3 years in Congress. No particular qualifications and those are ordinary. The biggie is being Dick Cheney’s straight daughter. She parrots his hawkish, war mongering BS to get more troops killed and more treasure squandered. She can go straight to hell. Not fit to quibble against the President. “Big Time” Cheney is not the President’s brain anymore.

My Bad. Cheney is married to Philip Perry, a partner at the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Washington, D.C. They were married in Wyoming in 1993. She and Perry have five children.[18] .
