Not nearly as dubious as Willard’s butt-boy, Slick Willy Hagerty.
Hagerty ain’t qualified. Just another lifelong establishment Derp State RINO hack that wants to spend his Golden Years treating the Senate like a nursing home.
Campaign workers/political consultants are whores. They’ll work for anyone in the party that will hire them.
The problem is Hagerty himself is a political whore and was one of Willard the Rat’s top campaign staffers. That alone is unforgiveable. He didn’t support Trump until all his establishment flunkies dropped out in 2016 — and yet at the same time was giving $$ to McQueeg, Zero’s best RINO buddy and ‘08 ringer.
Hagerty supports Hagerty. Sethi supports Trump.
Willard the Rat and Hagerty are already besties. Hagerty won’t even debate Sethi, because he’s terrified that will be brought up, amongst other things, and he can’t refute it.
President Trump gets a lot of rotten advice on whom to endorse in political races. Hagerty is a premier example of that. So was endorsing Luther Strange in 2017 in Alabama.
Blackburn is blind here. She has a serious grudge against Sethi from the last go-around.
No, but Hagerty is. The Conservative base in TN supports Dr. Sethi.
>>>President Trump gets a lot of rotten advice on whom to endorse in political races. Hagerty is a premier example of that. So was endorsing Luther Strange in 2017 in Alabama<<<<
If Luther Strange ended up being the Nominee, we would have had 54 Senate Seats instead of 53.
Now we have to waste time and money getting rid of the Rat Doug Jones which isn’t a slam dung BTW.
slam dung LOL. Make that slam dunk...
Nope. Luther Stange’s corrupt bargain appointment by then-Gov. Bentley was the sole reason that Kay Ivey moved up the special election by a year. Strange mustered barely over 32% of the vote in the initial special primary, with 68% opposed to him. He was never going to be nominated, hence he was never going to face Jones (and Jones had to be dragged over the finish line by corrupt establishment RINOs led by Dick Shelby who preferred him to an actual Conservative in Chief Justice Moore).
As for Jones, Tuberville will easily defeat him. Jones siding with the coup d’état of the President by the Demonrat Stalinists was the final nail in his political coffin. So, yes, it is a slam “dung.”
I heard differently about Strange from some people we know in Alabama. They told me he would win, especially with the Trump endorsement.
Oh well...
I hope you are right about Jones being easily defeated. We may need that Seat so we don’t lose the Senate.
As I wrote in the post before that, campaign operatives are whores that will go to work for anyone that offers them $$. Sethi hired whomever he needed to in order to get his campaign rolling. I’m looking strictly at the candidates.
Hagerty is a lifelong establishment Derp State hack. He was a Bushbot (father and sons). He was certainly anti-Trump in his personal support for Willard and the Bush family. He didn’t finally support Trump for President until after he’d gone through El Jebbe “Please Clap”, Sen. Roofio, etc. He’s acting like he’s some lifelong Conservative when he only appeared to find it after his RINO candidates collapsed. I’ve never seen Hagerty supporting Conservative causes or candidates here in TN.
I couldn’t name you one thing he did as Ambassador to Japan. I can tell you he’s Lamar!’s preference to succeed him and that he thinks he’s personally entitled to the Senate seat. He’s been a coward throughout the campaign, and didn’t think he’d have to campaign at all — just wait on the coronation. When Sethi caught up with him, he unleashed the nastiest campaign attacks on him, everything short of calling him racist names. He attacked Sethi’s wife for giving $50 bucks - yeah fifty bucks - to a Democrat House candidate 12 years ago. This when Hagerty was giving thousands+ to RINOs and to Al Gore himself (and McQueeg in 2016, as he made himself the premier Never Trumper).
Hagerty has zero credentials to earn a Conservative endorsement. He rides solely on the Trump endorsement, but Trump was lied to about Hagerty and his record. He refuses to debate Sethi, cowers behind other figures to try to fight his battles. Red flags galore.
Contrast that with Sethi, who has gone all over the state personally asking the people and the base for support - not running to hack establishment politicians to tell us how “Conservative” he is when he isn’t.
If this boils down to the campaign staffers hired, I think in this instance, it’s a non-issue. Look right at the candidates themselves and ask yourself which has the long record as a weasel and coward with a grandiose sense of entitlement, and which is the self-made man supported by the base. Virtually everyone who has met Sethi comes away impressed by him. The opposite is true of the folks who meet Hagerty.
I mean, if Hagerty is too scared to debate Dr. Sethi, how on earth can we expect this guy to stand up and fight against Demonrats in the Senate ?
No. Strange was simply too toxic. To the base, he looked like Gov. Bentley’s butt boy. In a special election, the national Dems and the media would’ve harped on the fact that he covered for a corrupt Governor and got the Senate appointment for delaying justice. I knew the moment Bentley appointed him that we had a HUGE problem on our hands.
The Republican base was screaming at the then-new Governor Ivey to move up that vote a year, just to get Strange out. It was virtually the first thing she did after assuming office with Bentley’s conviction. If she didn’t, she jeopardized her own standing. It had to be done.
I truly was baffled when President Trump weighed in to endorse this corrupt appointee. Either he was sticking to the tradition of endorsing incumbents (a bad tradition), or he was given some really bad information on Strange and didn’t know about the corrupt bargain with Bentley. The President, unfortunately, doesn’t have the time to individually vet candidates to see if they’re good or bad. He has some people that give him poor advice on who to endorse.
true
The race is neck and neck. Hagerty will be Romney’s little bitch if he gets to the senate.
If Lamar wants Hagg that really says it all. And don’t forget, $1000 to AlGORE in 1999 that he refuses to explain.
I’m disappointed in Tom Cotton’s supporting Hagg.
Onward to November my FRiend. We need that Seat back, period...
