BTW the owners tried selling last year the 36 unit apartment building for $6.1 million. They had one possible buyer who backed out of the deal. He must have seen how many repairs he was going to have to make!
I was told there are no takers this year as they would not be getting paid by the renters. They in turn would end up defaulting and the bank wins.

Amazon only hires in certain areas. When Denver opened up, tens of thousands of applicants for their Thornton facility for van and local deliveries.

Delivery jobs (gig economy work) used to pay a lot, but guess what jobs people flocked to after March - yep, delivery. If you have 10 DoorDash drivers in an area, you can make bank. With 200, you won’t even make $50 a day.

Health care requires costly schooling to be anything other than a candy striper. Back-office administration health care is being increasingly taken over by Indian H1Bs.

In my field remote work (software engineering) means UpWork. And that field is absolutely dominated by $1 to $5 Overseas Indians, Pakistanis, Ukrainians, Filipinos.

Auditing and Accounting? Guessing some sort of graduate degree in Business (at minimum) or Finance or Accountancy( more probably). Another area being taken over by Indian H1Bs.
