Funny you mention that. I’m a lap swimmer myself and swim 2/3 mile every other day, averaging over 2 miles a week. I do believe the order includes gyms, but there are exemptions for certain medical issues. I swam this morning so the next time I swim will be after work this Saturday. We’ll see how that works out. I do have asthma, so I can claim that as a mask exemption, but I really don’t want to go there. The exercise does me a great deal of good and I certainly don’t care to stop it.

Who's your Governor? At least our state legislature and state Supreme Court is conservative. Evers won by vote fraud in Milwaukee County. He will NOT get re-elected.
This is not going to improve until Republicans — from Trump on down — learn how to challenge the phony case and death numbers. And start explaining why masks don’t work and hinder breathing. Blaming the Chinese and the Mexicans, rather that the data manipulators, won’t cut it.
I believe we have a personal responsibility for our own health and safety. Trusting your health to the government and the behavior of your fellow man is not a good idea. So, if 20 year olds are spreading COVID-19, stay away from them. Wash your hands, keep your distance, wear a mask and take a cup full of your favorite vitamins, herbs and supplements every day. -—But don’t use government force to make me to do those things. A real leader would not need to issue a mandate.

I have been to Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, no COVID-19 deaths in the town and surrounding county for a month. Masks were a recommendation, not an absolute requirement, and no one gave me any wierd looks or insults whatsoever for initially wearing one, not to mention I haven’t gotten COVID from being maskless for a lot of the time there, unless I was somehow fully asymptomatic, which I won’t test for unless I want to be locked up for it.

Looking for some help to finally get the Anytime Fitness gym on Devonshire and Canoga closed down, like every other gym has had to do. I have called and spoken 4 times to people in Councilman Lee’s office. I have called and spoken with someone at the LA county department of health. I have also filed a complaint on their website. Shouldn’t they need to close like other gyms have been forced to do? Are they exempt for some reason. We ALL want this nightmare to end as soon as possible. Perhaps I just should not be concerned, and let them continue breaking the rules
