The pathetic joke of a school system now is a virtual pathetic joke of a school system. Does anyone think that most of the WDC public school students will “attend” the virtual classes? Likely, they will be learning how to improve their criminal activities on the streets of WDC. What a screw-job on those unfortunate students.

$30k a student? You could renovate a nice home and turn it into a classroom, with a nice yard for the kids to play in, bring in 20 students, pay a teacher $200,000 a year and still have money left over to hire an aide, a cook to prepare the kids 3 square meals a day, and a rent a bus to go on field trips.
I’ve always said that teachers are very short sighted when it comes to privatizing public education. Real dedicated teacher could make a lot more money and even become equity partners in the school instead of being led by the nose by bureaucrats and union bosses. I still remember my 6th grade teacher complaining that the school locksmith made more than she did.
You could, if your town/city/state wasn't collecting that 30K a student at the same time.
So I imagine through November means through November 3. All’s good on the 4th. The virus will have magically dissipated
