Along with Italy, they can surely bloody Turkey in the Eastern Med.
Can they? Because they ran out of bombs taking out Ghaddafi and had to call in the US to help out.
The Turks are bad ass fighters not surrender monkeys like the French. And Italians are not famous for their fighting ability since the Goths took them down.
