Very interesting times on Conservative Treehouse these days and the most recent post on Tash Gauhar was an eye opener. I knew she was deep in it, but not to the extent that she was all but, if not actually, running the DOJ.

Anyway, one day fairly soon, we should find out what Sundance is up to in DC & elsewhere.

Sundance is a rock star no doubt. He’s completely fearless and runs a great show over there.
Of course we have some great people over here as well. Here’s another FR piece that literally echoes what our President has been telling us for some time.

The Key to Defeating COVID-19 Already Exists.
We Need to Start Using It | Opinion from Yale University Epidemiologist
News ^ | 07/23/2020 | HARVEY A. RISCH, MD, PHD , PROFESSOR OF EPIDEMIOLOGY, YALE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Posted on 7/23/2020, 10:31:03 AM by SeekAndFind

As professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, I have authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals. I am usually accustomed to advocating for positions within the mainstream of medicine, so have been flummoxed to find that, in the midst of a crisis, I am fighting for a treatment that the data fully support but which, for reasons having nothing to do with a correct understanding of the science, has been pushed to the sidelines.

As a result, tens of thousands of patients with COVID-19 are dying unnecessarily. Fortunately, the situation can be reversed easily and quickly.

I am referring, of course, to the medication Hydroxychloroquine. When this inexpensive oral medication is given very early in the course of illness, before the virus has had time to multiply beyond control, it has shown to be highly effective, especially when given in combination with the antibiotics azithromycin or doxycycline and the nutritional supplement zinc.

On May 27, I published an article in the American Journal of Epidemiology (AJE) entitled, “Early Outpatient Treatment of Symptomatic, High-Risk COVID-19 Patients that Should be Ramped-Up Immediately as Key to the Pandemic Crisis.” That article, published in the world’s leading epidemiology journal, analyzed five studies, demonstrating clear-cut and significant benefits to treated patients, plus other very large studies that showed the medication safety.

Physicians who have been using these medications in the face of widespread skepticism have been truly heroic. They have done what the science shows is best for their patients, often at great personal risk. I myself know of two doctors who have saved the lives of hundreds of patients with these medications, but are now fighting state medical boards to save their licenses and reputations.

I’m not crazy about SS. But even with incentives to save such as tax preferences, matches and the potential of long term growth, too many people won’t save or make investments that are too conservative. So without SS you’d have masses of people without any income to live from once they could no longer work or contribute in the work place.

You are exactly right. That is what would happen. I myself have been known to not handle finances as well as I should. And those people would also be getting sick at an age where sickness is prevalent. We need to make SS and Disability mandatory....only way it will work.

Cause when those people get old and need a place to live and hospitals for their illnesses, we'll be paying for it anyway.

Yes, like the scene of Don Corleone in the hospital and his body guards have all been chased off by the crooked cops, and Michael finds Dad totally unprotected and waiting for the hit men to arrive.

Speaking of George Lewis, I recently saw a segment of Judge Judy on Twitter? where George was being sued by a small woman for wrecking her car (after he used it without permission - i.e. stole it) and George was maintaining that since it was not HIS car he should not pay to fix it. He admitted all the facts, that he lacked permission, that he wrecked it in a crash, but was too dumb to see how he should pay, His father was in Court, so Judge asked him what he thought, and Dad was shaking his head and saying I agree, he should pay up. The Dad looked pained and probably a good religious man. Mama probably wore the pants in that house, and spoiled George.

One if he is lucky. I can imagine demonstrations. The National Guard will have to be called out for a Trump funeral. His grave guarded 24/7.

Morse? is that you? “Lewis fetch me a pint”
...
Fancy a pint?

I don’t know how Morse is alive; he’s never eaten solid food.

I loved Morse too
...
Just finished season 6; Season 7 will be six episodes, not 4.

Anyone know where it will be shown? I have Roku, so Amazon Prime, but not sure it will be on there.

I recommend also the one season of “River”...my wife and I have watched the first 3 episodes...very good! Only problem after the 6, it is done.

Well it is comforting to know The Donald has it all figured out, and is umpteen moves ahead, but it continues to shock at least me that he has such little official support. Gohmert, Cotton, Paul, Gaetz, Jordan, Blackburn, and a few more show up now and then but many GOP politicians are running away from the battle. That prissy Liz Cheney woman who was dubbed a House Cardinal by dint of 3 years in office is a major disappointment, openly fighting with Trump. Thank God for media allies Rush, Hannity, Bongino, Laura, Maria, and only a few brave others.
..
You are dead on right...that’s about the only list of conservative reps NOT ON THE TAKE...I equate on the take to selling the country/us out.

While I recognize that a lot more testing has seen total numbers creep up; I am also aware that there has been an increase in my state. Alabama daily deaths have risen a lot the past two weeks.

You are succumbing to the prevailing propaganda - No one is generating any comparison numbers to the Flu.

I saw some stats for Texas recently comparing - 2018/2019 - Flu death to Covid - "AmericanThiner"? maybe two/three weeks back. The numbers are the same/similar

The issue with propaganda is IT WORKS and scares the shit out of virtually everyone. Until it no longer works - Will California succeed in recalling their Governor now that Moonbeam is no longer there? What will Seattle do? How about Portlandia - can we cast them into the sea?

Latest post, if you haven’t seen it ....

Lessons From the U.S.S. Indianapolis….
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/07/26/lessons-from-the-u-s-s-indianapolis/

I pray that what he is implying is correct and there’s going to be a political mushroom cloud in the near future.

“Certainly, if a special prosecutor like John Durham was to receive critical material to assemble a political “Little Boy”, anyone in/around the delivery process would be required to go completely silent thereafter. It is the only safe way to ensure the objective.

The U.S.S. Indianapolis was vital to the overall mission. However, building “Little Boy” was not the objective; detonating it was.”

Chuckie Todd is going to his knees for the soccer boys. NBC took chuckie down to air soccer championships across the country. I think there is more here than just airing soccer.

What in the world is the matter with you people - Last day of the SEASON for EPL Futball -

three teams get relegated to the minors (something we should do with the bottom loosing teams in ALL of the U.S. big $$$ shows such as NFL, MLB, etc).

And Some teams are playing to see who gets to feature in the BIG European cup matches - fun to watch
