I fail to see how magazines survive at all.
The only market I see is for home design and other visually oriented magazines where you want to take in the colors, patterns, etc. That would probably include something like Vogue (gag) for clothes.
Even then, online design issues have the advantage of being able to enlarge pictures, but its not the same experience.
For just reading news or cookie cutter articles that are the staple of most magazines, I dont get it.
Although I didnt read it, Orca always had a very polished looking mag, which is the Hearst Corp formula.
