During a White House coronavirus briefing on Thursday, President Trump said that he was invited by Yankees President Randy Levine to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming game in New York.
“Randy Levine, he’s a great friend of mine from the Yankees,” Trump said. “He asked me to throw out the first pitch. And I think I’m doing that on Aug. 15 at Yankee Stadium.”
The Yankees also confirmed that Trump will throw out the first pitch at a game. If it happens on Aug. 15, as he announced, it will be prior to a game against the Boston Red Sox. Since being elected president in 2016, Trump hasn’t thrown out the first pitch at a baseball game.

IT was before the game started, they had a long BLACK rope(??) and all held it and ALL took a knee for a few seconds BEFORE the National Anthem (Which, BTW - IMNSHO - the guy that did it appears to be the NA singer version of Biden - if that is the best they can come up with etc) and ALL stood.
I guess if they are going to do it that is one way but I will give them the benefit of the doubt as long as it isn't before EVERY game and that logo on the back of the mound is either 'removed' after the weekend or - at least - stays long enough to wear away with no touchups.
(Painfully) Watching that fiasco last night brings to mind that ALL INVOLVED should get a primer on the CORRECT use of the word RACISM.

What they are engaging in now fits #2 to a 't' inasmuch if one were to start a White Lives Matter movement, much like the (non existent) White Caucus in political situations would lead to all sorts of 'problems'.
Like I have stated before, liken the taking of the knee to prayer- then thank them for setting an example by saying a prayer before the game and the ACLU, LIBs, etal will put an immediate stop to it and if they don't we can reintroduce praying in school etc since praying on TV before the general public is acceptable.
It’s a good time to do it. There are no spectators. Just our Prez throwing a zinger fastball. When young, Trump played baseball well. He was good. Probably still pretty accurate.
I couldn’t imagine the closest enclave of Americans to Yankees Stadium; they are pandering to the low-IQ dopes who buy their merchandise.
