In an effort to bolster contact tracing participation, the county is offering a $20 gift card for those who fully participate in interview process, which takes about one hour.

Would the gift card be enough to make more people cooperate with contact tracing? Right now, many people refuse to cooperate...

I know that this article does not claim that the increased hospitalizations are all COVID, but that is certainly the implication.

Last week I was on the phone with my sister from the Reseda, CA area. She said that a doctor at her church says that they are directed to list all hospital admissions as COVID related.

A $20 gift card is a joke of a reward for divulging all the details of your life to a bureaucrat... but I imagine that it’ll have some takers. Probably the same folks who’ll wait in line 20 minutes at a gas station rather than go to the empty station across the street and pay 10 cents more per gallon.

Unfortunately daytime programming on the major tv channels is interupted Mon - Friday in Los Angeles so we can be lectured by the empty suit Gov. Newsom.

After he is done droning on we then get the Los Angeles City Covid update with the ghoulish, Skelator of a women Dr. Barbara Ferrer. Mind you she is the Director of L.A. county health with zero Medical background. She's a fricking Social Welfare PHD “specialists” harping on how Covid is hurting Minorities hardest. I heard her yesterday screeching on about the $20 Gift card if you agree to Contact tracing. A dangerous and vile women, she was essentially calling out Los Angeles because 89% of the Covid positive Pregnant women are Hispanics and that you are racist because these women do all the dirty work that racists won't do for themselves. Like I said dangerous and vile.

Oh yes, I also chuckle at the sheep lining up 25 cars deep at the Chino Hills CA. Costco to save 10 cents a gallon. Easy 25 minutes to get in and out. Never done it never will.

If the feral grubermint quit footing the bill, this scam would be over by the end of the week.

Couldn’t imagine LA letting a crisis go to waste. Since this test will be positive for related viruses other than COVID, this is just the beginning of sick season.
Or.. we are all going to die.

Good. That actually means there’s less fags over there than I thought. And a few too many more here than I thought.

But but Garcetti had the harshest lockdowns in the country and the toughest compulsory mask policy as well.
Closed churches beaches everything. Arrested people for even the slightest violations (apart from the “peaceful protesters” of course).
What happened?

Perhaps as they say, 53% of which were among people under the age of 41, but they don’t say how many of those are serious. As usual, the facts scattered in the article are useless data intended to promote fear.

Wonder if any of the admissions are for observational status WuFlu admissions. Fedzilla is paying for those under certain situations.

Someone should ask.

Also ask about hospitalized for or with.

Ditto for ICU admissions.

And how many admitted are non-citizens.

I’m betting the younger patients are oberservation status admissions. If do, they’re likely only there because Fedzilla is paying and the hospitals want to make some easy money.

If those patients don’t need to be in the hospital, they shouldn’t be there just so the facility can make a buck.

“Last week I was on the phone with my sister from the Reseda, CA area. She said that a doctor at her church says that they are directed to list all hospital admissions as COVID related.”

This is happening all over the U.S. Docs/Hospitals are listing new cases/deaths as COVID-related whether they are or not because they get more money from the gov’t if a case is listed as Coronavirus.

i’m wondering how many are cases from the aggie counties - we hear from people there that cases from the border are shipped out due to overwhelmed small hospitals there.
