Since we’re in the early stages of globalist revolution threatening all the powers of the legally constituted governments, his concern is both irrelevant and out of touch with the new reality. We need to gather intelligence about who the internal enemies are and what plans they are formulating.
The president swore an oath to defend the constitution and this is part of his mandate, to ignore revolutionary activity in plain sight would be a dereliction of duty (albeit one welcomed by the political opposition who are in some sort of alliance with these revolutionary groups).
This should all come out into the open. Many “mainstream” Americans are probably not very up to speed on the nature of this leftist threat and they need to know that there are people out there with every intention of subverting the constitution and turning America into a sort of legal anarchy with free reign for globalists to plunder what’s left of the state and its resources, while their chosen government looks the other way and does nothing.
This should be the main theme of the election, do you want to see the Republic looted and burned by anarchist rebels and political protesters, or do you prefer the course of law and order?

What I love about Rand Paul is, he is very principled and consistent. He is the least political politician that I know. He will not bend for political expediency.
I don’t agree with him on this one, but gotta admire his courage and consistency.
So, the innocent civilians in the areas of lawlessness, should just shelter in place until when? The entire city is leveled? They should forgo their own liberty until when? Because if you are, Ammon Bundy put out a FB live post tonite SHAMING people for not being more empathetic to BLM and that HE was going to go to one of their rallies (apparently there was some vocal pushback) and that everyone who disagreed ...well he’s just ashamed. And THEN he went on a tirade about defunding the police and they needed to be defunded. It was nauseating and I couldn’t finish listening to the insanity. He brought up Lavoy Finicum as his reason but Lavoy was killed by Feds...by obama feds iirc. Bundy sounded like a leftist nutjob tonite. I stopped following the Bundy Page after that b.s.

I agree and disagree with Senator Paul. Federal agents should not arrest people for jaywalking violations. However arson, destruction of federal courthouse and federal office buildings is a different matter. If local and State law enforcement can’t protect federal property then do send in federal officers.
In the old west when the local sheriff couldn’t keep the peace the federal Marshal was often the last resort before vigilante justice took over. I hope it doesn’t come too that.
