Calling them “murals” is an abomination.

Pease said he does not consider “Black Lives Matter” to be political, but he understood where the city was coming from. Right. Hard to believe Pease is that stupid. Therefore, he is likely very deceptive and manipulative.

I saw Black Lives Matter sign appearing on Broadway Street on the asphalt and I figured thats gonna be a new public space, open for discussion, and I wanted to get my message out, too. Rutenburg said. I want to paint a new set of 10 commandments on the street.
Thou shall not pillage.
Thou shall not graffiti-tag.
Thou shall not commit arson.
Thou shall not assault.
Thou shall not riot.
Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's car.
Thou shall get off welfare.
Thou shall get a job.
Thou shall stay off social media.
Thou shall STFU.

To those who think BLM is a good idea:
Lives Matter!
If you need a color
in front of those words
YOU are a racist

In New York City, the Black Lives Matter mural on Fifth Avenue was vandalized multiple times in the same weekendIs it even possible to vandalize a vandalization?

"Public Forum"
Good tactic.
Anyone in NYC willing to test that legal tactic?

Should the MAGA folks sue?? Give permission for one but not the other? Even if the original is scrubbed the permission for a political statement was still given selectively and preferentially.

We are having this event occur in our small town in eastern Washington. The city counsel decided to paint BLM on our street in front of city hall. It has created a hullaballoo in our town. Tonight city counsel decided to put it off in response to possible legal action along with an outpouring of emails and a 500+ signed petition against it. Its been a boon for the Republicans.
