I don’t claim to know what Durham is up to, or if there are really any pleas going down. But one thing I do know... today’s news media is so partisan & lazy that they don’t actually know how to ferret out information. They need to be spoon fed like the children they are. Therefore, if anything does happen with the Durham investigation the media (and us) will be the last to know. And much of what they will write will be political diatribes against Durham, Trump & Republican voters.

What to look for in this matter. As long as Trump has control of this and is pleased with its progress he will not declassify the mountain of stuff he can reveal. Trump has not shown any inclination to do this so he is clearly satisfied. When and if he declassifies it is time to get out the Pearl’s and start clutching them. Until then trusting the smartest bear in the woods is a safe bet

That's not true. I remember the charming Asian reporterlette who stood her ground and repeatedly demanded that Trump justify calling the Wuhan the "Chinese virus." She knew exactly what she wanted and she was not going to let go.
Are they dangling these tidbits just to string us along until the election?

The real 'tell' here is just the fact that Durham is supposedly going to release some kind of 'report'. Prosecutors don't write reports, they issue indictments.

I have been assuming that they would probably try to get pleas from some of the lower level people and promise to recommend light punishment, in exchange for their cooperation to get some of the big fish like Comey, McCabe.
