Joe Biden is once again returning to the Hollywood fundraising trough where he will drink heavily from the largess of wealthy left-wing celebrities, including Jay Leno, Rob Reiner, Barbra Streisand, and John Legend, according to a notice on the Biden campaign’s official site.
The virtual Biden fundraiser, titled “Celebration for Change,” is set to take place Sunday. Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno will host the livestream event, Deadline reported. Tickets start at $15 per person and go as high as $1,000 per person at the “champion” level.

I read that John Kasich is going to speak on behalf of Biden at the Democrat convention, virtual or otherwise. In 2016, he refused to go to the Republican Convention, and instead spoke at the NAACP. He’s such a dick-weed.
Given all of Jay’s bad blood with NBC in the past, I am a bit surprised by this. Maybe he thinks this will help protect his huge vehicle collection from the rioters.
Aren’t these just the same group of losers? I know nothing about John Legend. Why is he so “famous?”

If he were still on late night, I don’t think he’d be doing something like this. It would be too divisive, and he never struck me as a divisive comedian. He was good. I like Jimmy Fallon, but Jay was better. He was more like Carson. Kind of gentle in their humor. Very funny but it didn’t have that sort of bite that Fallon’s comedy does sometimes. Though I haven’t watched his show in a while.
I did like Fallon in Taxi and Fever Pitch (both movies; the first was with Queen Latifah and the second was with Drew Barrymore).
Leno proves that HE is just another “man on the street”.

I’ve always assumed Leno was a liberal. What set him apart on his version of the Tonight Show was that he’d make jokes about ‘rats in addition to the GOP. He is from the days when comedians would tell funny jokes, regardless of who was being the butt of the joke.

I’ve just lost all my respect for Jay Leno.
Kasich is a sawed off version of Pierre Delecto. Both with their hyperinflated egos believe they should’ve been president, and resent that our Disruptor in Chief spoiled their plans. Gutless politicians — they’re the ones who would get their platoon killed in a firefight (Fuddy Buckers).
I thought Leno had more sense than that.
