I write asking those on this site who have police officers in their families.
Is there a point at which some threshold is crossed, so that the police union says, enough! We are in an impossible situation and too many of our lives are at risk.
I saw 18 police officers being pelted by a mob in Chicago’s Grant Park protecting a statue of Christopher Columbus. There has to be a point at which the police say, “No more. We strike.”

The head of the NY State troopers association has demanded that NY State troopers be withdrawn from NYC, because of new regulations passed by the City Council and signed into law by DeBlasio, that he says prevent troopers from doing their jobs or defending themselves.
Wonder what the rank-and-file troopers themselves will do.
