if he does, and I don’t like it, he needs to COMPLETELY do away with farci and scarfy and bring in solid, patriotic MD’s that tell us the truth about how bad masks are for us, that they don’t work and we need to get back to LIFE

The problem is the Power is with the Governors and the locals and in Dem states, they've become dictators. You can't go out to a restaurant...can't go to church...can't visit friends.....

BUT YOU CAN PROTEST!! But still haven't figured out what they're protesting.

And if Black Lives Matter....why do they keep killing each other.

I think he should do a briefing once per week to show everyone that he’s involved. Left-wind media had spun a yarn that Trump hasn’t done enough.

President Trump, not President Fauci. What Trump needs to say is that this is over.

Very bad idea.
Concentrate on the economy, but have doctors like Zellenko (Top HCQ for coronavirus doctor in the country) and other eminent anti lockdown doctors (including that Nobel laureate from Stanford) at these economic press conferences, to vigorously push reopening everything including schools.
To go back to the old coronavirus task force press conferences with Doctor Doom Fauci will be the biggest mistake Trump ever made. It will cost him the election.

"White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Friday advocated for President Trump to resume giving regular coronavirus briefings"

Not sure what President Trump can say to convince people to take the virus serious. A lot of people are so far down the rabbit hole believing the Chinese Propaganda they will never come out of that hole.

Conway’s wrong. Trump should admit to wrongly letting himself fall for and give in to the Fauci fraud and reverse his siccing the military on enforcing Gates’s sick, experiemental mRNA vaccine.

The truth is always good and cleansing.

" Doesn't have to be for two hours. "

Thirty minutes tops. Briefings are brief.

Also, the briefings should be about all aspects of the coronavirus pandemic. Trump should show how he has to weigh all the factors to produce the least-bad outcomes. Roll out a new task force, which would include experts on medical impacts of lockdowns (mental health, postponed operations, etc.); economic impacts; security; financial impacts; etc. (Ther's nothing good about the situation.) That would put Fauci & his policies into a broader context.

Well . . . if he did resume them, what would he say? By turning all the responsibility for the COVID-19 problem over to the governors, he essentially made himself a bystander. Some of the governors followed his example, and turned over responsibility to their mayors and sheriffs. In any case, all the states are pursuing different courses, and none of them seem to be working very well. During a daily briefing President Trump could relay information and give his opinion on what others are doing, but this would not be a very dynamic presentation.

Could President Trump take control of the response to the virus based on declaring a national emergency? I don’t know. But if he did, what would he do? The second post down from this one
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3866246/posts
is a news item that Trump is giving up on having actual rallies and replacing them with phone rallies.

So has President Trump decided that large outdoor gatherings are a threat, and most people would fear to attend, or is he giving up on the rallies because local regulations make it impossible to find a venue? Why doesn’t he make his reasons clear? It is NOT good to be unpredictable in a situation that is already unpredictable. Kellyanne Conway is right—people want to be reassured by a steady, consistent voice setting clear goals. What does President Trump really think is going on right now? Does he agree that the disease has been overhyped and we should be willing to accept some losses to get to herd immunity quickly? If he believes this, why doesn’t he bring out the experts to help him explain his position and the new plan to get there?

Citizens are left feeling adrift, at the mercy of local leaders with different opinions. It’s a very dangerous place to leave voters so close to the election.

Trump could discuss the aspects of this story in great detail....

The CDC Has Politicized the Pandemic, Says Senior Administration Official

If he hasn't tweeted out a link that story, he should.

Conway says Trump should resume giving regular coronavirus briefings

Because they worked so well last time?

Resuming briefings brings Covid front and center again, something Trump is trying to get away from. Social issues and crime seem to be the issues Trump is running on now, and the economy if that continues to improve at the rate it has in the last few months. The last thing Trump wants or needs to be dragged into Covid again.
