Well, yes, hopefully all arrests are “state-sponsored” so nothing wrong with that.
As for anonymous, they said they were wearing ID patches and told the detainee they were federal agents. Nothing nefarious about that either.
Kidnappings? Is that what we now call arrests? I hope not.
As for your “without trial,” upon questioning they apparently decided he either wasn’t the person they were seeking, or that they didn’t have sufficient evidence to charge him, so he was free to go.
For myself, it’s about time we started using surveillance data generated during the protests to make some arrests, hopefully arrests that result in legitimate convictions and substantial jail time for torching buildings and assaulting officers of the law.
